Space shuttle Discovery Launch July 4th

I took the boys to see the shuttle launch on the 4th.  We were not as close as I wanted to be, because we needed to be able to get to a Sports bar QUICK for the 3:00 start of the Germany/Italy World Cup game. Most of the sound on the video is the wind. You may be able to hear the sound of the takeoff about a min in.
I know it has been a long time since I have posted and I promise I have tons of pics to post, but until then here is a video of the launch. I hope all had a great Fourth of July.  Anja had a blast at the fireworks display here.

very cool I would have liked to see that. I had a small town 4th with dancing in the streets and fireworks on the water.
